Terms and Conditions

All designs created on paper or computer by A Nathan Brickwork shall remain the property of A Nathan Brickwork.

Dependent on the cost of the job, a deposit may be required to cover the cost of materials.

Materials purchased by A Nathan Brickwork on behalf of the client cannot be changed without incurring a restocking fee, should a change be required please contact A Nathan Brickwork as soon as possible to avoid having to pay additional charges.

All materials and goods supplied by A Nathan Brickwork shall remain the property of A Nathan Brickwork until payment has been received in full.

Until full and complete payment has been received, A Nathan Brickwork may remove any unfixed materials and goods from the site. The client shall allow such access to the site as is reasonably necessary for such removal.

Payments subsequent to a dishonoured cheque must be made by cash.

Work will be suspended until overdue payments are received and cleared. Late payments will be subject to a late fee of £25 plus an interest charge of 5% above the Bank of England base rate. This interest will be calculated weekly.

The client has confirmed and taken responsibility, that they have gained the relevant planning permission, building control, party wall approvals and boundary ownership.

Any changes or alterations to the quoted works or to the materials requested by the client may result in an alteration to the costs. All additional works found or instructed to be carried out during the course of works will be subject to additional charges based on a day rate basis and any extra materials will be charged accordingly.

Time frames assume continual access and scheduling of works. Timescales are estimated and dependent on materials, weather and labour availability and as such are subject to some flexibility.

Liability cannot be accepted for delays or their effects either whole or part to causes out of our control.

During each project, A Nathan Brickwork reserve the right to take photographs during the various stages of the job, these photographs are for marketing purposes with personal details removed.

It is requested that a minimum of three working days, be given of cancellations or postponements.

Upon acceptance and agreement of a commencement date of work, it is the client's responsibility under current legislation to inform adjacent property owners as to the nature of any proposed treatments and commencement dates.

A Nathan Brickwork are not insured to undertake any plumbing or electrical work.

If you have a diamond card, this must be declared on the first visit otherwise the discount will not apply. Discount applies to labour only.

Where present, it will be assumed that the supply of water, electricity and toilet facilities will be made available for the use of all workmen on site. If not an additional charge may be made to provide these services to comply with health & safety.

All visitors to the site where works are being carried out including owners of the property do so at their own risk. A Nathan Brickwork will not accept any liability for injury should an accident occur.

The quotation will remain open for acceptance for a period of 3 months from the date there on. If the quotation should be accepted a written contract will be set up between A Nathan Brickwork and the client.

The client, in accepting this quotation, agrees to A Nathan Brickwork carrying out the described works on their property, and they shall make reasonable provisions to protect their fixtures and fittings not subject to the described works and other possessions left in the property whilst the works are undertaken. The client shall also make safe, suitable and uninterrupted access.

The quotation provided is based on known costs for materials etc., at the time of preparation. Occasionally the building trade experiences sudden price increases. Whilst we aim to keep within the quoted costs, we may be forced to increase charges when situations like this occur. We will notify the client of any such increases.

The outstanding balance must be settled in full, within 10 working days of the finished job.
